Hand Dyed Handspun Yarn

Handspun Hand Dyed Yarn from Lisa SouzaThe first half of this project blew out of my booth, at Rhinebeck, and when I realized that I still had some of the beautiful, natural colored Border Leicester locks in my arsenal, I decided to Make Some More! As always, the angora is very tightly spun and is just slightly beginning to emerge a little, to tease the knitter with just what the yarn will become, when handled and worn; a beautiful, warm, furry blur. You would have enough, with the whole batch, to make my vest from 10 Secrets of the Laidback Knitters but this would be a fabulous hat/scarf project yarn for a man.

Fiber Content: 50/50 Angora/Natural colored Border Leicester wool
Gauge suggested is 4 stitches to the inch, to give the angora a chance to “bloom”.
Needle size suggestion is 8 to 9 US/ 5 to 5.25mm
Hand Wash
